Hi, I’m Kira. I've been a midwife since 2013, working in both the public and private sectors of maternity. I have three beautiful children, all through midwifery-led continuity of care. My last baby was born swiftly and safely at home surrounded by family – an amazing and empowering experience!

I offer pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care for women in the comfort of their own homes. I'm excited to be able to offer women homebirth services in the Illawarra region and surrounds. 

 

My focus is on empowering women to realise their true potential as child-bearers, mothers, partners, and nurturers of the family unit. I believe in the importance of instilling confidence in birthing women and their families to make their own health decisions by using evidence-based practice, offering practical advice, and taking a holistic approach to each pregnancy in a social, emotional, cultural, physical and spiritual capacity.
